Empuria Brava September 2021 — shot with my old iPhone 6s which gives through the 16:9 format a cinematic feel.
I don't know why but all the videos I shot with that phone end up being in that format.
As you see it was a very moody cloudy atmospheric beach day. Shot shortly before I went to the airport to fly back to Germany.
2021 in the midst of COVID lockdowns. It was a total nightmare. Little did I know at that time that things would keep on getting worse.
The cost of living exploding in Germany, insane energy prices, that I'd lose my freelance teaching income shortly after, panic attacks and a major burnout that I only really started recovering from this year.
Only once I quit the teaching all together and only focused on healing my destroyed health and building the shop. The past few years have been an utter nightmare.
I completely crashed the end of 2024 and only from this year on with the shop work my emotional and physical recovery has started.
Better times will come and then I'll certainly leave that place here in Germany that has completely broke me and burned me out. All I want is enjoying life again and I'm slowly getting there.
