this one is on treating yourself with love and integrity

There's a lot of talk going on in the wellness sphere about self-love and what that actually means.

In my books it is just that simple:

  • get lots of restful sleep
  • eat homemade nourishing food and stay away from everything that your ancestors wouldn't have recognized as food
  • surround yourself with people who energize you and let go of the drainers and energy vampires
  • get sunshine whenever you can
  • learn to rest before you burn out (yes speaking from experience here)
  • find something you truly believe in and fill your day with that - for me this means all the work I put into my shop and creating systems for the shop for example.
  • do what you said you're gonna do. Follow through. Self-discipline is the highest form of self-love I once read and it really resonated with me.
  • get creative. It is food for the soul!
  • spend time in nature - it is healing.
  • let go of systems, people, jobs etc that drain you.

With love,

Phyllis
