the art of minimalism

I'm not saying that you should go full-blown into Konmari-ing mode here.

I mean, she seems a bit pedantic to me for being honest?! But still, I love her super minimalist approach.

Because taking away whatever doesn't serve any longer is just amazeballs. It takes so much weight off your shoulders.

I'm talking about physical clutter here and also about emotional clutter. Who would have thought that they're correlated - kinda wild, huh 🤷♀️😳

In the past 5 years or so I've gone through big rounds of decluttering and I gotta tell ya - it's super therapeutic.

Decluttering these areas here in life does wonders:

1.) your home. I mean, who needs all of that junk piling up after years of not using it?!

2.) all things digital: your laptop, cell phone pics and contacts...

3.) friendships. If I have not spoken to someone longer than a year, I believe it's time to delete their numbers.

4.) your car if you have one - here I am guilty. My car is like a basement full of stuff. Maybe time to declutter it today.

Well, this list isn't complete of course, just to give you an idea.

IMHO too much clutter paralyzes the mind and that's a real dealbreaker to progress in life. Decluttering takes the weight off my shoulders and gives me air to breathe again. I can highly recommend it!

Clutter ain't just physical, it's also mentally draining!

So, how do you feel about clutter? Are you ready to let go of all the things that keep holding you back? Because that's exactly what clutter does. It is draining and paralyzing.
