Hey friend,
if you're feeling sad, then do something that involves your hands - or your body.
Therefore I am saying here to bake / shake it off!
Often we feel miserable because of being kinda sedated. And that's where baking / shaking it off steps in.
When I spent a few months in Argentina, I was living with my dear friend Leticia. I don't like living with people normally but we had the most fun ever. One night she cooked and I cleaned the dishes, the other night I cooked and she cleaned the dishes. Laundry, cleaning the whole apartment, that we always did together.
Anyways, we often in the evening would just put on loud music and start dancing in the living room - and it always improved our mood instantly.
Try it! If you feel down, just put on your favorite music and start dancing. I promise, you'll feel better after doing this only for a few minutes.
And when I'm kinda depressed, cooking and baking also does wonders for me. And the best thing about that is, when you bake a delicious cake and then share it with your friends, family and neighbors, then they're happy as well.
And with that, I hope you do some happy dancing and baking today!
